Overview

Star Light Alternative Educational Provision provide a 3 day therapeutic timetable for children in year 4 to year 11 that would benefit from a therapeutic approach to education in smaller settings. We aim to act as a bridge or reset for children to work towards returning to mainstream school, or a correct setting that meets their needs. We support children who have an EHCP or in the process of obtaining one. We also offer programs for young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Our AP provides English, Maths, Coding and Design, 3D Printing, Foodwise, Graphic Design and Therapeutic Art ASDAN accreditation courses. We also offer outdoor learning where students learn about biodiversity, planting, growing and the environment which is also an accreditation course.
