Academy21 is the UK's leading online alternative provision specialist delivering high quality, fully live education for students who are unable to access mainstream learning due to medical needs, anxiety, SEMH, SEND, attendance barriers or other complex circumstances. As the first online alternative provision to be accredited by the Department for Education through the Online Education Accreditation Scheme (OEAS), Academy21 offers schools, local authorities and commissioners a trusted, quality assured solution with strong safeguarding, qualified teaching and clear accountability for pupils outcomes. Working in partnership with schools, Academy 21 provides fully live, small group teaching for learners across KS2-4, designed to maintain academic progress, improve engagement and support successful reintegration where appropriate. Provision is highly flexible with tailored provisions and contract models that allow schools and local authorities to commission support for short term intervention, transition periods or longer-term alternative provision, depending on individual need.
