By using AP Directory ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, as described below.
AP Directory is a free discovery and signposting tool that helps parents, carers, schools and professionals find Alternative Provision, SEND specialists, and related support services. We publish information submitted by providers, supplemented by our own research, and make it searchable by location, need, subject and qualification.
Inclusion of a provider in this directory is not a safeguarding approval, an endorsement of educational quality, or a recommendation. We take reasonable steps to verify basic details submitted by providers, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of every listing.
Schools, local authorities and parents/carers remain responsible for carrying out their own appropriate due diligence — including safeguarding checks, Ofsted status, and suitability for a specific child — before commissioning or using any provision listed here.
If you register an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. If you submit or claim a provider listing, you confirm that you're authorised to provide that organisation's information and that it's accurate to the best of your knowledge. We review submissions and claims before they go live, and may decline or remove listings that don't meet our standards.

Provider profiles are primarily maintained by the providers themselves. While we carry out reasonable verification checks, provision details (such as availability, fees and admissions criteria) can change quickly. Always confirm current details directly with a provider before making any decisions.
AP Directory is provided "as is", free of charge, on a best-efforts basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, reliance on listed information, or dealings with any provider found through the directory. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
We may update these terms as the service develops. Continuing to use AP Directory after changes are published means you accept the updated terms. We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever we make changes.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
