Overview
Shrivenham Equestrian Centre provides support for children and young people with support needs in Tiers 1 and 2. The service provides access to horses and ponies, for both ridden and ground work. The staff at Shrivenham Equestrian Centre have experience of working with children and young people with a range of mental health needs, although they have no formal mental health qualifications. They have also recently created a partnership with a newly formed 'Riding for the Disabled' group, who run lessons using their horses and facilities.
