Overview
IProveFit provides one-to-one, small and large group trauma-informed and evidence-based mentoring to children and young people with support needs in Tiers 1 to 4. They work with children and young people to boost their self-worth and to help them recognise their own achievements. They model positive behaviours, collaborate with young people to overcome barriers and emphasise a healthy lifestyle for both the body and the mind. Individuals access the service for a minimum of 12 weeks but each child or young person is assessed on an individual basis. The mentors at IProveFit use their own experiences to help the children and young people working with them. Each activity is bespoke and personalised to suit the individual's needs. Individuals are referred into the service by their schools, through the Local Authority or from a private referral. IProveFit applies a series of mentoring approach
