Overview
MIAG offers alternative provision for individuals with Tier 3 support needs. Working with children and young people aged between 8 and 16, MIAG seeks to develop pupil motivation, confidence and engagement with education. The service aims to provide students with the skills that they need to be able to start or return to mainstream education, further education, college, training or employment. The service teaches key skills, knowledge and concepts through english, maths and personal development. Each child or young person is assigned a pathway that matches their academic ability and individual support needs. The small group provision is aimed at those up to the age of 18, and they offer both short term and long-term placements. Sessions are in person, although it is possible to offer online sessions for certain packages of support. Some courses available for the children and young people
