Overview
Wheels Workshop works with young people to develop their manual dexterity and problem-solving skills by using a wide range of hand tools. The service also aims to promote a positive attitude towards road safety and responsible vehicle usage. Young people will have an opportunity to work on real motor vehicles and each session is adapted to suit the needs, abilities and interests of the young people who attend. The service runs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during school hours as part of an enhanced school offer and part-time timetable provision. The bespoke sessions can be adapted to work with learners with Tier 2 support needs and focuses on their individual strengths.
