Overview
Seedlings offers part-time placements (two or three days a week) for children aged between 4 and 7, who are on the role of a mainstream school within Swindon but are struggling to make progress or engage with their learning in this environment. The service works with children from a range of backgrounds, including those with Tier 3 support needs. Following the Gradual Steps or an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum, Seedlings focuses on five key areas: Communication and Language Physical Development Personal, Social and Emotional Development Understanding the World Expressive Arts and Design Maths and English is also built into the curriculum to support and consolidate the content being delivered by the mainstream school. Seedlings also works with schools, parents and carers and Speech and Language Therapists (SALT) to help develop children's communication and interaction skil
