Overview
Power2 Rediscover 10-week programme for children and young people with poor mental health and wellbeing, struggling with their confidence and self-esteem, exhibiting distressed behaviour, disengaged from school and learning, and who may also be at risk of school exclusion. Our highly skilled therapeutically trained staff provide intensive individual support to the child or young person based on their needs and challenges. The child or young person co- develops their own Personal Action Plan using a strengths-based Outcome Star as a guide. Exits are carefully planned to ensure progress continues beyond our intensive support. This programme can be delivered to individual children/young people or as a small group mentoring programme. Where appropriate support can be extended beyond the initial 10-week period. On completion of the programme students receive a certificate which they receive at an annual graduation ceremony attended by peers, teachers, families and dignitaries who celebrate their success. Of the children and young people, we support: 83% improved their mental wellbeing; 75% improved their engagement with school and learning; 74% who were shy and withdrawn improved. Teens
