Overview

Occuteach provide alternative provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). They work with different providers of health and social care, building relationships with local authorities and are able to support neurodiverse students who access their learning, giving tailored individual support where a student may struggle to engage with the national curriculum or class-based settings. Occuteach recognises that not all students learn in a standard way. They use a mix of both academic and vocational teaching methods, understanding from a strengths-based approach for learners, unlocking their own individual ways of learning, as well as listening to understand previous difficulties individuals have experienced in their learning. The Occuteach alternative provision educators bring a wealth of experience working with students who have struggled in mainstream setti
