First Thought Care Services provides highly personalised, trauma-informed alternative provision for children and young people aged 5–25 who are struggling to access mainstream education for a wide range of reasons including SEMH needs, neurodiversity, disrupted school placements, exclusion, anxiety-based school avoidance, complex trauma, or challenges with peer/social environments. We specialise in supporting pupils who require intensive relationship-based, stabilising intervention delivered by trained practitioners who understand behaviour as communication, work therapeutically, and build trust through consistency, structure and genuine care. Our AP offer includes: 1:1 and small-group bespoke education Tailored learning plans delivered by experienced SEN practitioners and overseen by our Assistant Head/SENCO.
