Overview
At Aroa Specialist Therapeutic Education Team (STET), we deliver highly specialised support to children and young people who are unable to attend school or who are receiving Education Otherwise Than In School or College (EOTIS/C). We provide early and proactive intervention for children, young people and their families at first stages of autistic burnout, placement breakdown or significant school- avoidance, minimising periods without appropriate provision and specialist oversight. We facilitate engagement with a bespoke curriculum, and re- engagement with an educational setting if, and when ready. We have a team of highly skilled SEND mentors who are supported and supervised by Aroa STET consultants.
